This Is My Journey…

I have held many roles, many posts and many titles over the past 20 years. I have degrees and certificates and qualifications. And they are all an amazing part of my journey for which I am forever grateful as they have enabled me to get to where I am today.

But I know that though they are a part of my story, they do not define me.

My purpose in life is one - to raise human consciousness so that everyone can be free to live a life of joy. If I can do that through my coaching and consulting services, excellent. If my articles, op-eds and book can trigger an awakening, then that is amazing.

My journey began with my own awakening when I was 12. From that day on, my focus was always on trying to understand what makes us tick. At the same time I was curious as to how I could contribute to society and bring about positive change in a way that it would actually make a difference. At University I combined my passion for the law with my love for personal development through psychology and studied both, being awarded Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science degrees from Monash University, in Melbourne Australia.

I was mesmerised with how much healing lawyers actually undertake in their everyday lives. Stepping up to the task not only to find solutions and problem solve, but to offer emotional support and guidance. The more I practiced the more intense those needs became.

But the pace and culture of private practice was not for me - I was burning out before I had even begun. I knew there had to be a better way. So I added travel to my list of passions and spent the next 15 years working in some of the most amazing places on our planet. Meeting inspiring people, being exposed to new cultures, working on eye-opening projects and providing my own brand of support, guidance and expertise wherever I could. My travels led me to live and work in Athens, Doha, Dubai, London and Cyprus, first as a Corporate/Commercial Lawyer, then as General Counsel for large multinational organisations, culminating in the establishment of my own firm, Aipeia Consulting in 2013.

Today when I am asked ‘What do you do?’, I struggle to find a traditional answer; one where I would normally respond with a title. But that is no longer appropriate! To be honest, I do a lot of things. I sit in presence, I write, I coach, I consult, I create, I support, I transform, I shift mindsets, I empower, I inspire and I do it all with a whole lot of love.

My values are clear and they guide my work every single day, instilling in everything I do the energies of love, gratitude, authenticity, responsibility, creativity, integrity, kindness and compassion.
